The amazing Blackberry Curve 8530 has just been launched recently; it is not the same as its sibling in terms of it being a powerhouse nevertheless it delivers a powerful punch. It has more of a rounded look and does not have sharp edges; in fact it has a very sleek look.

The Blackberry Curve 8530 is a low end product and lacks the professional feel so one should not complain. Some folks have complained that the control buttons that are along the sides and the top of the cell phone look too cheap, these buttons are built in and don’t have much feel to it.

The keyboard is a plus point in every blackberry cell phone and this phone is no exception where this feature is concerned.  To some it seems difficult to type as the buttons are very clicky.

The Blackberry Curve 8530 is supposed to be a low end model but surprisingly it is packed with features that that some high end blackberry modes lack. There is a 256MB flash memory that is built in to the handset and has a 528 processor.

This cell phone supports Bluetooth peripherals and voice activated dialing. Applications such as geotagging pictures and navigator service are available with the Blackberry Curve 8530. The keys that are located along the top of the cell phone give easy access to music and videos.

Owners of this cell phone can have access to as many as ten supported email accounts.

Games and mobile apps can be accessed with just a click of a button as well as social networking sites.  You can also get the latest updates on news and the weather. The Blackberry Curve 8530 is available in three great colors and those are royal purple, red and black.

Research in Motion (RIM), a Canada-based wireless device company, released their first Blackberry in 1999. They were successful with the model, since it was one of the first to integrate Short Message Service (SMS), Multimedia Message Service (MMS), and email, and other internet applications in one device. Since then, RIM continues to design innovative products to meet the world’s growing need for wireless communication.

In May 2007, RIM proudly introduced one of their latest models, the Blackberry Curve. According to RIM, the Curve is the smallest and lightest full QWERTY keyboard Blackberry to be released by far. It measures 4.20 x 2.36 x 0.61 inches and has a mass of 3.92 ounces. Also known as the Blackberry 8300, this smart phone has a silver and black finish, with soft-grip edges that make it non-slip and comfy to hold. Aside from the fully-functional QWERTY keyboard with spell checker, the Curve is easily navigated with the trackball system. There is also a huge 2.5 inch LCD screen with 65,000 color display and 240 x 320 pixels resolution. The Curve has a light sensor that automatically adjusts the LCD brightness depending on the external lighting conditions.
