One of their newest releases is the HTC Mogul, introduced in July 2007 and distributed by Sprint and Verizon Wireless at $399.99 inclusive of two-year subscription.

The HTC Mogul is a smart phone with vital statistics of 4.33 x 2.32 x 0.73 inches and weighs 5.8 ounces. The multi-touch LCD screen measures 2.8 inches with 240 x 320 pixels resolution and 65,000 color display. The phone comes with a stylus for touch screen input. When you slide the phone horizontally to the left, you can access the QWERTY keyboard with roomy buttons for easy tapping.

This smart phone works well with organizing contacts. Each contact can have entry for 12 phone numbers, email address, street address, IM ID, and others. Callers can be tagged with photo ID and polyphonic ring tone. Voice activated dialing is also supported. The HTC Mogul is capable of SMS, MMS, and email. As a PDA, the Mogul operates excellently with Microsoft Office applications, like Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Files with compatible formats can be created or opened on the Mogul. The unit also is installed with Adobe Reader for opening PDF’s.

The Mogul has Wi-Fi capability and EVDO support. Surfing the web is snappy on the Mogul, and simpler with the installed Windows Internet Explorer Mobile browser. This smart phone has Bluetooth, Infrared, and USB connectivity. Sprint subscribers can access the Sprint Music Store where they can download songs at high speed and play them on their Moguls. The Mogul has 96MB internal memory, which can be expanded with an included 512MB microSD card. Plus, Sprint offers the Sprint TV service, so users can watch live TV broadcasts for news, sports, and others. The Mogul is also included with MSN Messenger software for IM on the go, and is GPS-enabled.

With the built-in 2.0 mega pixel digital camera, users can take photos up to 1200 x 1600 pixels resolution. It has an LED flash, up to 8x zoom, and photo editing tools. The digital camera can capture video up to 30 seconds, and can be saved in MPEG4 or motion JPG format. Photos and video can be attached to MMS and email.

Critics have some minor complaints about the HTC Mogul, it doesn’t perform well for a music phone. Music quality was substandard, although video playback was great. Also, the limited memory can also limit the productivity of the phone, so a larger microSD card is needed for purchase. Navigating with the touch screen and operating with the QWERTY went well, although the circular toggle button below the screen was a bit stiff. Download speeds are already fast, and depending on the service provider, the EVDO support on the HTC Mogul will soon be upgraded.

The HTC Mogul comes shipped with wall charger, CD-ROM software, USB cable, stereo headset, leather case, and the abovementioned 512MB memory card.

At present, we have many forms of technology available that helps us see the world clearly. We live in an age when everything happens to fast, and information travels faster than sound, so we need to keep up. Mobile phone technologies have shown impressive breakthroughs within a short span of time, such as that shown by Motorola with the release of their RAZR V3m model.

The RAZR V3m is one of the latest Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) compatible phones available from Motorola. With this feature, information over the internet can be sent and received by the user in a faster and more convenient way, through the V3m. In the United States, Verizon, Cingular, SureWest, and Sprint give their users dozens of options to maximize their V3m phones.

Verizon offers a video and TV clip download service, V CAST, where subscribers can download clips and play them back on their RAZR V3m. Aside from that, they also offer V CAST Music, with over a million songs available for download. Games and applications can also be obtained and stored onto the V3m. With the software and digital music issues in mind, Verizon has found ways to limit data exchange via Bluetooth or USB, to avoid unlicensed receiving of software or music. Plus, Verizon offers the VZ Navigator, a GPS service in the US that perfectly works on the RAZR V3m. You won’t have to get lost on the road again, as your phone can tell you where to go by directing you through speakerphone.

Sprint also joined the RAZR V3m bandwagon in October of 2006. Sprint offers their customers Sprint TV, where live TV broadcasts on news, sports, weather, and stocks are played onto the RAZR V3m. SureWest is another service provider that maximizes V3m use by offering the MediaPak to their customers. On the MediaPak, users can download songs, videos, games, and other applications online, and save them on their V3m.

The RAZR V3m not only lets users view the world, it also allows them to share the world to others. With the built-in digital camera for still photos and videos, users can send picture and video messages to anyone on the globe through the V3m. One needs not worry about the battery life of the V3m, as it lasts longer than the other V3 versions. You can make a call for 200 minutes or stand by for 13.5 days before the need for recharging the phone.

People say we live in a small world, and through the RAZR V3m, it seems like the world is getting smaller. People seem to be communicating better, and distances across continents appear nearer. Because of devices like the RAZR V3m, many technological dreams are soon becoming reality.

When personal digital assistants (PDA) made their way into the modern age, we thought computers couldn’t get any more portable. We were so glad that we could surf the internet and do our work wirelessly, just by using our PDA’s. But with the rapidly changing time, the power of computers increased in strength, while their bodies shrank in size. Meet the Samsung Upstage M620. It’s not just a phone, a PDA, and a computer, but also a uniquely smart music player.

This Upstage is such an amazing combination of many machines, you’d wonder how they fitted it in one handheld device. The mobile phone is capable of Evolution Data Optimized (EVDO) technology, like many 3G phones today. EVDO allows users to get online and download at high speed using their mobile phones. With the Upstage M620’s convenient web browser and 2.1 inch LCD screen, subscribers can watch live TV broadcasts, movie clips, music videos, and tune in to the news.

The mobile phone also comes with a 1.3 mega pixel digital camera which can zoom up to 5x. Pictures taken can be in four resolutions, from as large as 1280 x 160 pixels or as low as 176 x 220, depending on the user’s preference. The camera can take still photos in night mode, and can operate on a five second self-timer. There are also adjustments for brightness and contrast, and a photo editing software is included. The Upstage supports PictBridge, so photos can be printed immediately without cable or card transfer.

The Upstage M620’s digital camera can take video clips with sound, as long as there is available space in the memory. Videos that are less than 30 seconds long can be attached to Multimedia Message Service (MMS) files or sent in emails. Photos can be saved and used as wallpapers or caller ID pictures. Photo sharing is also made easier with the Upstage, as users can transfer using Bluetooth, USB cable, or SD card. Overall quality of pictures is pretty good, several sources say.

Mobile phones today have come a long way than just for taking calls or sending text messages. They have evolved beyond PDA duties, made lives more convenient, and information more reachable. As computers shrink in size, one can only hope that the goodies in them will keep getting better. With features like that of the Upstage, one can have an even better view of the world.

Samsung is considered to be one of the worldwide big bosses in the digital and electronic industry. Established in 1969, the company has come a long way in improving the quality of life for millions of people. Today, Samsung innovates with better technology to suit every lifestyle.

In April 2007, Samsung proudly launched the Ultra Music F300, with Grammy-winner Beyonce Knowles leading the advertising campaign. Later on, the phone was renamed as the Upstage M620, as it intends to win against its mobile competitors. The Upstage is exactly what the TV commercial says: it’s for users who need their mobiles for business, as well as those who enjoy music anywhere they go.

The Upstage is the first model of its kind to have two faces: a phone side and a media player side. Aside from that, the unit is ultra thin and lightweight. With the flick of a switch, users can go from typing text messages or making calls to listening to music and watching TV. A smart 3G phone, the Upstage has EVDO technology, for high speed web surfing, downloading, as well as live TV broadcasts for news and sports. Users can make video calls with the Upstage and send SMS and MMS messages to anyone in the world. The phone also includes templates for messages, and a T9 dictionary for easy text entry. File sharing has never been easier with the Upstage M620. It has Bluetooth, USB connectivity, and SD card which can expand the memory to 2GB.

With a built-in 1.3 mega pixel digital camera, users can make video calls, and of course, still photos and capture videos. The camera can zoom up to 5x, and shoot in night mode or with a 5-second self-timer. Photos can be edited with color tone adjustments, brightness, and with fun frames. PictBridge lets you send photos for direct printing, without using the USB or the SD card. Videos can be taken for 30 seconds or more, depending on available disk space.

Additional features of the Upstage include polyphonic ring tones, wallpapers, themes, Java games and applications, voice memo, to-do list, calendar, alarm clock, calculator, and voice dialing with caller photo ID or tone. As Samsung says, having a phone that does everything you need is not hard to imagine. The Upstage M620 can be more than just a phone or a music player. This innovation lets you view the world in a brighter perspective.

Earlier in 2007, people have been talking about the arrival of the iPhone many, many months later. Not to be outdone, Samsung surprised everyone in the United States by getting ahead of the game and releasing the Upstage M620 in April. The Upstage planned to outsmart the iPhone in more ways than one.

Meet the Samsung Upstage M620. Originally named as the Ultra Music F300, but later changed to imply what it intends to do with the competition. The phone is a slim and light candy bar model, doubling as both a phone and a music player. Perhaps the first of its kind, the Upstage has a switch that lets a user change from phone mode to music player mode, to prevent unwanted enabling of certain applications.

As one of the smartest 3G phones to date, the Upstage is capable of Evolution Data Optimized (EVDO) connection. With EVDO, users can download files and browse through the internet at high speed, even when many others are online at the same time. The Upstage is also Bluetooth compatible, has USB connectivity and a built-in 53MB memory. An SD card can be purchased separately to increase memory to 2GB, for maximal music downloading.

The large media player screen on the music side can display over 200,000 colors. It makes the Upstage perfect for viewing album covers, photos, watching live TV broadcasts, movie clips and video. The touch-sensitive d-pad controls playback of mp3 and WMA format songs.

The Upstage M620 is also a smart mini-computer. It’s powerful enough to browse the internet at high speed, even when the music is playing. As a PDA, it has voice memo, calendar, to-do list, voice dialing, and voice dictation for composing messages. The phonebook can carry 500 entries, each with five numbers allowed. The Lithium Ion battery can keep for 2.5 hours of talk time or eight hours of music play. Battery can be increased to almost 7 hours using the included battery wallet, which can be attached or detached from the phone.

Don’t count out the 1.3 mega pixel digital camera, which can zoom up to 5x, and take photos in four different resolutions. Plus, there’s a night mode, self-timer, and the user can adjust brightness, contrast, color, and white balance. Videos can be taken for more than 30 seconds, as long as there is memory space available.

What’s the best surprise? The Samsung Upstage M620 costs only one fourth of the iPhone. You could have all these great features, and enjoy the savings you make. That’s a smart surprise. Thanks to Samsung.

Selecting a mobile phone that suits your preference is not easy today. With the hundreds of models and styles out there, it will take you a while to decide. To make it a little simpler for you, let me narrow it down. Here is a mobile phone that’s got everything you need and more: the Samsung Upstage M620. Give it a shot, and you probably won’t have to think twice about getting it.

Since they are called mobile phones, we always look for portability. The Upstage has got it for you. It weighs only 73 grams, and measures 103 x 44 x 9 mm. That means the Upstage is less than 0.4 inches thick. The Lithium Ion battery is already attached to the unit, and can go for 2.5 hours of talk time or 8 hours of continuous music play. A battery wallet is included in the mobile phone package. With it, you can slip in the Upstage and extend its battery life to 7.5 hours. If you don’t want the extra bulk or don’t feel the need to extend the battery, you can detach it from the phone.

The Upstage M620 has got two LCD screens: one for the phone side, and when you flip it over, you’ve got another on the music player side. It’s hard to imagine that these two devices could be merged into one. The phone side LCD is 1.4 inches, with 65,000 color resolution. You can view phone numbers, SMS, MMS, calendar, to-do lists, and memos on this screen. The player side’s LCD is 2.1 inches, and has over 200,000 color resolution. It displays photos, videos, live TV broadcasts, and web pages with great quality. The screen also serves as the viewfinder for the 1.3 mega pixel digital camera, which takes photos and captures video at up to 5x zoom.

Hold on, the Upstage is not just a phone with two faces. It’s a powerful computer as well. Equipped with 3G technology, the Upstage can surf the web and download songs and videos from millions of selections at ultra high speed. If a TV isn’t around, the Upstage can log on to get live TV broadcasts for news, sports, weather, and the stock market. Because it’s a 3G phone, the Upstage is capable of video calling. Other features include Bluetooth, USB connectivity, SD card for extended memory, voice dialing, voice dictation, plus Java games and applications. Want to know more? Then check out the Upstage M620 at a store near you.

The term “Upstage” is commonly used in performance arts or theater, wherein an actor does extremely well, and that everybody else seems to be insignificant. Samsung was wise enough to use the word as a name for one of its newest ideas: the Upstage M620. Many believed that the unique features offered by the Upstage will surely make it stand out against all other mobile phones.

How else could Samsung make a phone stand out? Give it two identities. Buyers will definitely love the two-for-one deal they’re getting for every Upstage M620 purchased. They’re not only getting a mobile phone, but a multimedia player as well. Sprint released the Upstage in 2007 for $149 and a two year subscription, which includes lots of much-needed services like internet, TV, and music.

The Upstage is a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) phone, which is also what we commonly call as a 3G phone. Using this technology, owners of the Upstage can get online and surf the internet at high speed, as if they were at home on their PC. CDMA allows users to download large files like songs and video clips in the shortest time possible. Also, subscribers can watch live TV broadcasts of selected news, sports, business, and entertainment channels right on the Upstage.

The 1.3 mega pixel digital camera is a plus point, too. With it, users can make video calls or attach photos and video to MMS messages. The camera can zoom up to 5x and take photos in four resolutions. It has a night mode, self-timer, and color adjustment. Videos are recorded with sound, and the Upstage has a video capture feature. Videos can be longer than 30 seconds, provided that disk space permits them.

As a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), the Upstage does its job very well. It can organize 500 phone book entries with up to 5 numbers per entry. Your callers can be identified with picture ID and voice dialing. The Upstage can make memos, to-do lists, and save dates on a calendar. Voice dictation lets you enter text in messages or memos much easier, without the fuss of fumbling on the buttons.

With Java games and applications, users of the Upstage can enjoy a variety of programs to suit their taste. Plus, you can download more games and applications straight to the Upstage. Now that we’ve talked about the Upstage, next time you hear of it, you don’t have to wonder about how it got its name.
