Many consider the iPhone’s target market to be fashion conscious and gadget loving twenty somethings. Whilst this isn’t strictly accurate, the iPhone is often used as a business tool, as a gaming utility or what have you, it certainly does have that crowd. Twenty-somethings and gadget lovers tend to be ‘first adopters’ of technology and that has proved the case with Twitter.

So those who love gadgets and Twitter then start looking around for a combination of the two – and the iPhone has provided it.

But it is not just about them, Twitter has started catching on in a big way. Because the celebrities are on board it is getting a wider audience, and more people who might not otherwise be interested in such technologies usually sign up because they want to know what the celebrities are saying.
